Nina Knaack is a contemporary art historian and freelance (copy)writer, speaker, curator, and tour guide based in Amsterdam. She is deeply passionate about the power of art and her work mostly focuses on communicating the inventive thoughts and stories of artists through writing. This allows artists to concentrate on their creative process, while she ensures their visions are conveyed to a broader audience.

A significant part of Nina’s writing revolves around the digital and crypto art world, an area she finds fascinating due to the endless new possibilities offered by web3. She views artists minting their work on the blockchain as pioneers at the forefront of contemporary art history, pushing beyond previously defined boundaries.

Throughout her career, Nina has written for several cultural magazines in her homeland, the Netherlands, including 3voor12 and the Groninger Museum. Her specialisation in art and its history has seen her work at the Museum Voorlinden, the Van Gogh Museum, the Rijksmuseum, and Huis Marseille (museum for photography) in Amsterdam.

Nina writes for cultural magazines, platforms, and collectives — Culture3, Right Click Save, Nifty Gateway, studio KASBOEK, ensō, PROOF.xyz, and individual artists & collectors alike.
